The butyl adhesive (PIB) penetration rate is less than 0.3 g/m²•d, while that of silicon rubber is between 30-50 g/m²•d, resulting in an over tenfold improvement in water vapor permeation resistance. PIB is applied to seal the edges of bifacial modules, effectively isolating moisture and enhancing the humidity and the heat resistance performance of HJT modules.
